Corinna Chapman, talented baker and reluctant investigator, is trying very hard to do nothing at all on her holidays. Her gorgeous Daniel is only intermittently at her side (he's roaming the streets tracking down a multi-thousand dollar corporate theft). Jason, her baking offsider, has gone off to learn how to surf. I've listened to most of the Corina books and they are easy listening. The plots are lightweight but ok. The narrator reads well enough but I don't get the necessity for the 'secret agent' type of accent she uses for Daniel.

I reviewed Earthly Delights, the first Corinna Book and finished by saying that the male voice characterisation was weak. Well, 5 books down the line I would not change a thing. Keep up the good work Louise.
