Meet Enola Holmes, teenaged girl turned detective and the younger sister to Sherlock Holmes.

When Enola Holmes, sister to the detective Sherlock Holmes, discovers her mother has disappeared, she quickly embarks on a journey to London in search of her. But nothing can prepare her for what awaits. Because when she arrives, she finds herself involved in the kidnapping of a young marquess, fleeing murderous villains, and trying to elude her shrewd older brothers—all while attempting to piece together clues to her mother’s strange disappearance. I was introduced to Enola Holmes through the Netflix film and loved it. Being borderline obsessed by all things Victorian, I've certainly read and listened to many books set during the 1900s and this us11¹

An absolute delight

How on earth can the narrator mispronounce LeStrade? Good story spoiled by jarring narration and terrible accents.

Riddled with Americanisms and mispronouciation.

i love this book. Seen the films and listened to the books on audible at least 5 times all the way through. The performance is a bit scratchy at times but it's not often and I love the reader's voice. She fits the characters really well. At points it can be scary. especially for 9 year olds +, with references to "ladies of the night" and the awful conditions of London's poor, so be aware of that

Definitely recommend, although I'd say 14+
