About this listen

We’re trapped with a starving, insane monster.

An emergency measure ensures that no one can enter or leave the pocket dimension that holds Cerris City. Everyone I love and care about is stuck in the city with me.

The time has come to fulfill my friend’s last visions of me at full power, helped by three men who adore me, else we will never be able to escape.

But Phaeron is in the monster’s grasp, forced to watch its atrocities as a punishment for escaping its clutches centuries ago. It’s all over for us if it manages to twist him into one of its servants.

Geo, Ben, and I must save him, but first we have to keep ourselves alive in a city consumed by anarchy, with streets flooded with unnatural creatures and innocent supernaturals desperate to survive.

Unless we can regroup and defeat this newly summoned evil, we’re doomed to be consumed by it instead.

This is the third and final audiobook in a medium burn, fated mates, enemies-to-lovers series with a strong heroine who doesn’t have to choose between her three love interests. It is recommended for mature readers.

A great conclusion to a really good series. Kres and her men finally get there HEA.

A great conclusion

This trilogy was a very pleasant surprise. As the plot unfolded and we got to know the characters, the story became more and more enjoyable. I appreciated that there were grown adults actually helping the YA characters, the plot detailing gow they secured the civilians, and the FMC being special, well, in several ways, but her main virtue was having morals. I liked the male leads, too, they were distinct, fun, and attractive enough. I started the series based on the first book's title, so the spice came as a surprise. I'm not into that but I guess if you are, there's enough of it, and it sorta stays plot relevant.

Didn't want it to end
