The final novel of the Demon Accords series:

The aliens won't give up and Hell wants its due. Having fought off the Vorsook multiple times, Earth's heroes are looking to end the war in a decisive way, while Hell's demons circle like sharks smelling blood in the water. One world facing off with an ancient interstellar species that has conquered almost five thousand planets and the Fallen Angels of Hell. But the defenders of this world are Chris Gordon, Declan O'Carroll, Tanya Demidova and Stacia Reynolds, the quantum super computer Omega. Who would you bet on? Bloodlines starts somewhat slow, especially compared to many of the other entries in the series, and the overall pacing feels more gradual and measured. The feeling of pace is perhaps due to the nature of this particular entry, as it draws various threads together to draw to a close. Personally I found the story enjoyable and it never felt as though it dragged, despite a less frantic feel compared to some previous entries.

The elephant in the room here is frankly the change in narrator for this title. At this stage we're all used to James Patrick Cronin's well established narration of the majority of the previous titles and the loss of his voice for this final entry is bittersweet. On the one hand it is good to receive another entry but on the other the shift to Connor Brannigan's voice work is jarring. Connor does a reasonable job at stepping in to bring us into a close but James's absence is definitely felt and it feels like a deep shame his voice didn't deliver us to the finish line.

The end of an era

Audible did you dirty! Not sure where it went wrong but not to have James Patrick Cronin finish the series is a travesty. Ruined the end of a fabulous series

Narration very Poor

Surprisingly brief but includes quite a few characters from the series even if only cameo appearances. It was a plausible ending to the ‘demon accords’. I’m wondering whether there will be a spin off? 🤔

A pretty good finale
