Ioan takes us on a journey of discovery that sharply highlights the perseverance and scale of the gun threat around the world. The reader is not spared the detail (if not the gore) of the effects of guns, and the author shares the very personal stories of those most closely affected. It is clear Ioan has a deep understanding of this subject, yet the book remains a more personal, instead of academic study, of the threat from guns.
