About this listen

In Battle for the Woodlands, Walde and the other Reachers struggle to restore one of the last great Mothertrees, their only link to the being deep in the earth, while enemies range against them. Without the Mothertrees, the Reachers' children cannot grow. This fact becomes personal when Walde discovers he will be a father.

I enjoyed this second book as much as the first. The characters develop further as they continue to try and save the mother trees and learn more about what being a reacher means. Looking forward to the next book.

Another good fantasy novel

I lost track of time while listening to the book and the end snuck up on me and now I am hoping I do not have to wait long for the next book to come out. The author does a wonderful job at detailing the forest environment the characters inhabit.

Love the narrator’s rich voice and was glad to see he was back to read the 2nd book in the series

I need the next book!

It was too slow paced for me. While it is a good story, it started getting a bit boring after a while. The narrator was really good and perfect for the story but his narration was also slow, I had to speed it up.

A bit too slow for me
