The dual narration of Lessa Lamb and Blake Lockheart was amazing.


I was hooked from the first and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I wanted to scream at the boys in Oceania's life. But she keeps her head held high and pushes through.

Ocean does not act like any 17 year old. Instead she and Colton act like very mature adults. Of course when you have been through what they have it’s hard to have that child like innocence. This was my first book by Sheridan Anne and it definitely won’t be my last. Yes this is a series and I would definitely recommend listening to them that way. But when I started the book it was so well written I would have never know I missed out. From the first scene I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down. And the ending has you screaming for the next book in the series!
The narration was perfect for the characters in the book. Thanks Audiobook Obsession for the recommendation.

I’m having a hard time with this review after that ending!!! NOT because the book isn’t fantastic, because it IS! I am just so thrown that I’m kinda “speechless”. To say I love this series of book is an understatement!!

Ocean is dealing with so many things…. And the hits just keep coming! First, finding Jude (which isn’t a spoiler cause it happened in the previous book), and then the many other things that bombard her throughout this book! I don’t know how an adult would handle this, let alone a 17 year old!

Colton loves her…. Deeply and without reservation…. But what’s going to happen now!? Can I have the next one now!?
