Need biographyMo Fitzgibbons has built a daring career, overcoming every obstacle with discipline and determination. Miami Native went from being a model teenager, skateboarding on the cover of magazines and commercials, to directing, producing, and writing for over 2 decades. She founded Walker Fitzgibbon TV & Film, a company based in South Florida and Los Angeles. Amount other projects include broadcast television in national commercials. Her expertise in promos, animation, reality, variety, biographies, documentaries, and music specials in English and Spanish makes her one of the most sought-after in the film industry. She had worked with prominent directors such as Ridley Scott, Tony Kaye, and Spike Jonze on videos and national commercials for Coca-Cola, Burger King, and other top advertisers. Soon after, she started producing and directing commercials and music videos.
Simultaneously, she gained experience in post-production, graphic design, and special effects for various multimedia platforms, including HBO, MTV, and other channels. Fitzgibbon established a new entity, LAFLA Film Nation, which is introducing a series of one-on-one workshops and Career advisement programs for young filmmakers coming out of Florida to give them a leg up on how to enter the business of creating visual content and navigating the industry to become successful while building their careers and companies in Florida. Mo Fitzgibbon has countless recognitions and awards to her credit. She is known for the critically acclaimed investigation in The Discovery Channel ID series Real Vice Miami and Lifetime Television’s Intimate Portrait of Gloria Estefan. She went on to win the prestigious NCLR ALMA Bravo Award for Outstanding Made-for-Television Documentary.
She garnered top honors for Gloria Estefan’s “Don’t Stop” received a Grammy nomination in the “Best Long Form” category and Primetime Emmy consideration for Validsite's "Cowboy Dave National Commercial." The American Advertising Federation Miami and Palm Beach awarded her Gold and Silver Addys for numerous TV commercials, Tellys, and New York Film Festival Awards, and Gloria Estefan's music video. "Reach" for NBC's Olympic Worldwide broadcast. She has worked with well-known entertainers and artists like Esai Morales, Shakira, Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Williams, Andy Garcia, Mario Lopez, Dan Marino, Jon Secada, and many others.
