GROUNDWORK: BOOK 12ND EDITION

An engineering corporation is conducting an archaeological dig in Ancient Maya territory. They believe that the key to humanity’s future can be found in our past. Their findings have led to the top-secret creation of a spaceship that will take them far beyond the Milky Way Galaxy.

During the dig, archeologist John Strongham discovers a long hidden transport device that snatches him from Earth and deposits his body on an alien planet: Farsocc.

John’s captors have been monitoring humanity for the whole of our existence. They know about the spaceship. And they will facilitate our interstellar exploration, but their main objective is to create a new colony of human beings.

John will become the founder father of this settlement, and his orientation will decree a spectacular jump in human evolution. More planets will follow, giving humanity some room to breathe. It is thought that this may be the trick of cooperation among their kind.

There are some who will not welcome these new colonies and will seek to destroy them.
