Tonight, The Light Gate is honored and delighted to welcome researcher and author, Linda C. Powell. Linda is an English writer with a decades-long interest in mid-20th century America. Since 2015 she has been a news editor for The Anomalist.

Her landmark book, “Against the Odds: Major Donald E Keyhoe and His Battle to End UFO Secrecy,” is the first biography of one of the most important figures in UFO history. In this book, Donald Keyhoe, his public and private life before and during his time as the world’s best-known UFO advocate is revealed. Linda not only profiles Keyhoe’s amazing and pioneering research, but reveals a behind-the-scenes look at UFO politics and how the US government has attempted to perpetrate a UFO coverup on the American people.

Leslie Kean calls the book “fascinating & inspiring.” Jeffrey Mishlove calls it, “The most well-researched book in the UFO field that I've ever seen.”

Linda lives near England's east coast and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. In this conversation we explore the early era of Donald Keyhoe's amazing entrance and research into the UFO field. It's a story that everyone interested in UFOs should know.
