Luna returns to Frostbite Lane, but this time the light is different. After the events of Episode 33, she can't stop thinking about the morgue light that flickered in room 214. She goes back to check on it, but the building is locked. Through a basement window, she sees the light is on. And something is standing in front of it. A woman in a hospital gown, backlit, perfectly still. Luna calls out but gets no answer. The woman turns slowly, and Luna sees her face—or rather, the absence of it. A smooth, featureless oval where eyes, nose, and mouth should be. The light goes out. When it comes back on, the woman is gone. Luna spends the rest of the night sitting in her car, watching the window. The light stays off. She drives home at dawn, but she knows she'll be back.
