Summary
Marcy’s favorite rag doll, Raggedy Ann, goes on a whirlwind journey she never expected! After being accidentally tossed into a laundry hamper, she survives being boiled, scrubbed, and even flattened by a ringer, emerging with a wider smile than ever before. But the excitement doesn't stop there. When Marcy ties her to the tail of a giant kite, a powerful gust of wind carries Raggedy Ann way up into the clouds. The kite string snaps, and she disappears into a tall elm tree, where she spends a peaceful night with some friendly robins who borrow a bit of her yarn hair for their nest. By the next morning, the birds' chirping leads Marcy right to her beloved friend. Together again, they learn that while adventures are fun, there’s nothing better than being tucked safely in bed at home.
