Summary
Opening Scripture:
Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV)
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?”
Many people believe they know themselves, but they only know the version of themselves they have convinced themselves to accept.
Self-deception is dangerous because it does not look like a lie; it feels like the truth. You can stand in front of a mirror and still not see yourself clearly. You can justify what God is trying to correct. You can normalize what is breaking you.
The issue is not what you see, it’s how you see. Until God reveals the truth, you may live a life shaped by illusion rather than by transformation.
