In 2010, Matthew Hoffman, a seemingly average man, horrifically murdered three people and kidnapped a child. The community was left in shock, but the truth behind his actions was far more disturbing than anyone could imagine. Hoffman had a history of obsession and violence, but what drove him to commit such an unimaginable crime? Matthew had an unhealthy fixation with leaves and trees, which even played a role in the crime, earning him the nickname “The Leaf Killer”.
