Nice story but the narrator lacks personality which left me cold I'm afraid to say

Terrible narration

Penguin shouid not have chosen this narrator. He’s really monotone and ruins the book because if it.

Good story well read, I don't know if it was a.production issue but there were significant pauses that were slightly annoying.

I’ve loved the other Rebellion audiobooks but this one completely ruined it. The narrator is so bad here. He leaves awkward pauses, breaks words, makes no attempt to make the characters his own and generally ruins the entire experience. I even heard a car in the background of his audio at one point. I’m sure he’s trying his best but maybe this kind of thing isn’t for him.

PLEASE remake this with a new narrator!

Having been spoilt by the excellent narration on some of the other Dredd audiobooks out there, the poor quality here is a bit shocking.
The story itself is great and in such a character rich world, it is odd that the narrator makes no attempt to give any of them personality.
He seems to genuinely struggling with reading outloud and comes off as amateurish.

Great Story, Bad Narration
