Worth the discounted price for the Primarch dialogue alone. An enjoyable listen and a rather compelling story to boot. For DA, Ultramarine and AoC fans especially.

another fantastic entry as always, the lion as stoic and knightly as always and Luther as manipulative as ever. would recommend to any fan of dark angels

The biggest strength of this book is that it paints the picture of a legion divided both physically and ideologically, and it does this through two unrelated stories happening at the same time. One one hand we have the 1st legion originating from Terra that still follows the old ways since before there were any legions. And on the other hand we have the Caliban part of the legion that longs to ressurect The Order. From that point of view the book is good but the two separate stories are unfortunately, only decent.
John Banks does a good job narrating overall, however at times, when multiple characters are talking, the voices get mixed but nothing too distracting.
