The author has done a wonderful job in writing this Thriller that definitely packs a punch. I enjoyed the tense and interesting plot that kept me guessing throughout the story. I knew after listening to the introduction/blurb that I was probably going to enjoy this book,.

This story mainly takes place in London. The main character finds himself draw into a political/espionage mess when an old man accidentally bumps into him and utters a garbled message. Pretty soon he finds himself entangled in more than he bargained for. The pace of the book is good, but at time, I did find the plot confusing, mainly due to the amount of characters, but otherwise it plods along to a worthwhile conclusion. The narrator was ok, but some of the character voices were off-putting. I thought the production quality was good. I was given a copy of this audiobook for an unbiased review.

John Daniel find himself in a pickle: he witnessed a murder, he finds out important information that the deceased source gives him, and he is chased by both mossad and mi6. Throw in an old spymaster, a beautiful mi6 agent and a mischievous political plot and you got a perfect le Carre novel, which is both fast-paced and has breathtaking London imagery.
Paul Jenkins is doing a great job conveying the different characters and adding in suspense. Recommended!
