I really enjoyed The Alexandre Dumas Collection, especially because it offers two iconic stories in one package. The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers are full of twists, strong characters, and thrilling adventures that kept me hooked for hours. Roberto Scarlato's narration really brought the stories to life, with a good pace and engaging tone that made the long runtime fly by.

That said, there were some moments where his pronunciation of French names and places felt off. For example, ennui was read a bit too casually, and some city names like Calais sounded strange. While it didn’t ruin the experience, it was a little distracting at times.

This was a great reading for the audiobook of some classics. I liked this quite a bit as the narrator had a nice accent, was very smooth and had good cadence. His slight voice changing between characters was great and gave the extra little push to make this a five star performance. Enjoyable experience overall and lots of fun!

If you like your words misread, mispronounced or said with weird emphasis, you'll love this. The narrator is mostly great but the regular errors took me right out of the story - 'enn noo' for ennui, 'saynt jermayne' for Saint Germain, 'foiliage' instead of foliage, 'lions' for Lyons, 'ka-liss' for Calais... the list goes on. I'd have enjoyed this a lot more if the narrator had a clue how French words were pronounced. On the other hand, you can't beat the great stories so they're worth listening to you if you can stomach the errors.
