I listened to this during walks when my anxiety was loud, and it surprisingly stuck with me. The exercises felt doable, not overwhelming, and I caught myself pausing instead of spiraling. I liked that it didn’t try to hype me up, just guided me gently. I’ve replayed a few sections already, especially on tough days. It feels like a calm voice reminding me I’m not broken.

This book really helped me understand how to deal with overthinking and anxiety in a simple way. It doesn’t feel like a lecture but more like practical advice you can try right away. I liked that it gives tools for different challenges like anxiety and OCD, so it feels like a complete guide to feeling better. The ideas are easy to follow and don’t make you feel overwhelmed or judged.

One part that stood out was about accepting your thoughts instead of fighting them. That made me think about how I get stuck in my own head a lot. Recently, when I started using some of the exercises, I noticed I could calm down faster and not get caught up in worries. It’s still a work in progress, but this book gave me hope and real ways to practice peace every day.

The narration is clear and calm, making it easy to focus and follow along.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I listened to this on Audible and found it incredibly grounding. The workbook format made it easy to follow, with exercises that actually help you apply the concepts in daily life. It covers everything from anxiety and OCD to overthinking, using ACT in a way that feels supportive not clinical. I liked that it didn’t rush the process and gave space to reflect. If you’re looking for a practical, all in one guide to feel more present and calm, this audiobook really delivers.

This has some great grounding techniques when you feel like you have too many things going on at the same time. I liked how they said if we focus on other things it gives our mind something else to focus upon versus what we were roughing ourselves over. From the listening, feel or textures of things, i can see how the other sensories can come into effect. I like the narrator, really exemplifies in chapter 5 for example, when you get up each morning, asking yourself, whats important today... I mean it makes you think, not just doing something, but making the most out of each day because like the author states, you've set your compass. If we get cluttered driving that anxiety, yeah we could right down everything we gotta do, in order to see it, without having the surprises, or if theres any conflicts, or effect next month or next year. I really like the reality checks. Very good therapy.

Great way to stop overthinking
