About this listen

Sophia is prophesied to save her tribe, but times have never been darker, and the Elders have never been more desperate. To prevent her people from going extinct, she’ll have to use her power to summon her ancestors, train magical creatures, and make a sacrifice that’ll change her world forever.

Liam has battled for the right to be with Sophia, and their forbidden romance is about to launch the Elementai into a war. To fight back against injustice, he must become the leader he’s always been destined to be, and bring the tribe into a new era.

The fate of the Hawkei will be determined in the greatest battle of their time. In the end, Sophia and Liam will choose between saving their tribe… and saving their family.

Very engaging story, lot’s of interesting stuff to keep you engaged. Some of the negative stuff is very cruel and yet, though it’s a fantasy fiction story, there is too much similarity with bigotry and genocide that has happened within the world. Also, be prepared for lots of graphic sex!

Vibrant story

The whole set from book 1, leaves you not knowing what is going to happen, who is going to survive, you cannot cling to anyone in the hope they will get through the war. I was getting a bit fed up and wanting it to conclude by book 6, but everything did happen for a reason... so many heartbreaking moments that saw me walking my dogs sobbing, looking like a lunatic im sure! I'm just so glad I was home in the final book, in a certain part, all I will say is, this book broke my heart.... curse you for that!! That final death was not what I bargained for, after all that... holy moly.... fantastic books... so well written, great romance, adventure, mystery, growth. I'm going to need therapy after these books though!

oh my days, get your tissues ready!!

You are portraying cowards. Created an illusion of them not being able to do anything. it's beyond delusional. it has saddened me as I listen. I will finish it but this is getting a bit sadistic. it would be ok if the reasoning and environment prevented action. but what was portrayed didn't seem like enough for me.

Whilst I acknowledge the characters are young I could not determine what audience this was aimed at. The themes were dark, genocide, torture, death, gore, war but both the narrative and dialogue was flippant and naive. After one horrific event… ‘He was gonna pay for that!’ My shoulders ached, it felt like I had been bench pressing the whole sea’

‘Im gonna get that badass!’
