Very very slow start. Took a while to get into. The story itself is ok but there is a lot of unnecessary explaining of situations and feelings. The story stepped up its pace in the final few chapters so I started to enjoy it a little more. Narration was good.

There were a lot of words to explain the scenarios of what each character was doing!
The story picked up in the last quarter and I was happy for it.
The FMC is a secret mortal god and is an assassin by trade. She is offered a large amount of money to infiltrate a Mortel God academy and would be given the name of the mark at a later date...that date hasn't come yet.
The MMCs are mortal gods and Kaira is to look after them as their servant.
The narration was good.

The storyline is compelling and there is some very emotional moments in the book. it's worth a read and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
