I really liked the story and now looking forward to the sequel. The story line felt much more upbeat and optimistic, compared to many other novels in the cli-fi/post-apocalypse genre, and this was a welcome change. The narration was good and I appreciate that the author narrated, as this added real authenticity to the interpretation of the text and character portrayal. My only slight niggle was the occasional background noise during some of the chapters. This really should have been cleaned up. Apart from this, I would definitely recommend.
