At the beginning I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this book. But I quickly fell in love with the characters and looked forward to seeing where it was going to go. It ticked some of the most popular tropes, so it was predictable at moments but it still had some twists I didn’t see coming. I’m already on my way to start the next book and see what happens next!

Everything about this story is 10/10.
This is such a gripping story and I fell in love with every single character. This is easily one of the best books I’ve completed and I’ve done a lot!
Will 100% be buying the physical copies and cannot wait to continue the books!!

I enjoyed this book so much. the enemies to lovers, the bickering, the misunderstandings, the plot. All were excellent. I haven't enjoying a book this much in a long time. The narrators were also excellent at bringing the story to life. I would highly recommend. well worth the credit!

the perfect fantasy romance

so, iv read the books, and decided to audio it again to prep me for the 3rd book release as a quick re read. now this is one of my favourite series... however I advise to kindle read it. I found, listening.. entires chapters are missed out in the audible. the whole process of her readying her disguise to enter the castle was cut out etc. so it lost depth because of that..

the female narrator is okay, her reading is clear .but I felt some emotion was left out. I found reading it far more gripping as the narration was a little mono tone.

but please read it.. its a brilliant series. the narration does not do this justice.
