I really enjoyed this tale of a life style that is quite foreign to me. The title did not appeal I must admit. It was free and I was looking for something distracting and not too heavy. I'm so pleased I gave it a listen. It moved along at a reasonable pace and was charmingly recounted. I learnt a bit about keeping chickens along the way and I found myself smiling at the end. I enjoyed the plot and the performance was entertaining, however I really struggled to like the main character…she made me cringe and was just generally unlikeable which took away from the overall story
