This is a great introduction to Lean for those who are very new to the concept. Paul expresses why and how to adopt Lean practices and principles in terms anyone can understand.

If you've heard of Lean and want to know where to start, this could be the book you need. Don't be scared!!

At the beginning of my career I worked in Tier 1 automotive supplying Toyota, Nissan & the rest. I was in Quality Assurance / Supplier Development so I had a lot of exposure to Lean Principles and using the techniques.
HOWEVER, the game changing difference that Paul’s approach brings is that it’s NOT about the process, as we were taught, it’s the PEOPLE first. Grow the people relentlessly (every single day - systematically) and great processes come, along with products and the bottom line. That’s a lot easier than trying to “do lean” top down.
An absolute must read for anyone who would like a better life, even more so, if you already have a humble attitude to life to go with it.
That’s pretty general but you’ll know what I mean when you read it!
