The story is a little bit predictable but that didnt make it less enjoyable. The performance however conveyed the characters really well and made them seem real. I think this book is one of my new favourites. One thing I enjoyed about the story was that the sex scenes werent extremely graphic and their relationship was built on communication and feelings for each other instead of the over passionate detailed sex scenes you find in other gay romances novels that take the life out the characters a bit. if i had to describe the book in one word it would be endearing

Loved it, narrators voice has a real drawl to it fitting 'D' s' character so well. Story line was good, slow to start so stick with it, loved the way 'D' wrestles with himsrlf over the relationship, humour so downplayed but snarky.

Enjoyed this so much when it first came out, and just as good now. Loved both mcs and lots of twists and turns in a good story. There were not many books like this when it first came out.

What made the experience of listening to Zero at the Bone the most enjoyable?

The story was original/racy, the damaged-character "D" very well explored, and the actual text well written! Super narration!
