Zara Hampton-Brown is a revelation in this book, well the whole series actually. She so expertly performs this gorgeously decadent tale that you quite forget she is doing this on her own. Seamlessly transitioning from our vibrant and wild Ivy to the brooding and filthy Julian and a whole myriad of other characters that it is quite dizzying to listen to. And I love it!!

I have been waiting for this series to come on audio for months after having heard about it and everything others said is true. Sierra Simone has created a truly wicked concoction of an erotic Jane Eyre, Rebecca, 50 Shades with a dash of Secret Garden thrown in. It is definitely, as Alexa says, for mature audiences and not for the faint hearted so if you like your historical romance super spicy then this is the one for you.
