I usually try not to start book when the second one is not Immediately available (I can’t deal with delay gratification 😂)But after hearing the teaser I just couldn’t help it,

Amazing duet audio - not a massive fan of how indecisive the FMC is but I think that will change. Gave me a bit of Cat and Mouse duet vibes but in a Dark Romcom way. Definitely will wait for part 2 .

Such a fun masked man, hidden identity book! Loved the dynamic between these two character and all the crazy stuff they get up to together. They seem the perfect pair. Cade is just the perfect mix of sweet and unhinged and any girl would be crazy to say no to him. Spicy scenes are so good and leave an impression! Narrators were perfect for the roles and will be looking out for them more now.

I heard a snippet of the Audiobook which tempted me to listen and the narration was 5 ⭐'s the story more around the 3.9/4.0 ⭐'s for me, I really enjoyed it, I loved Violet and Cade, I'm a geek so the hacker and the analyst bits really appeal, the overall story, age gap, stalker, alter ego, off limits and spice all great, but there was just something missing to take it from an enjoyable story to one I just couldn't stop listening to and unconstructively I'm not sure what that was - hopefully as the series goes on that happens as I will listen to the next one when it comes out.

This book is such good vibes - think Lights Out but a little darker and more intense (in all the good ways).

The duet narration is chefs kiss… and James Cassidy? 🥵💦 fast becoming by favourite narrator.

If you like character-driven chaos with real emotional bite, this one’s absolutely worth it. This does end on a cliffhanger, and can’t wait for book 2 to come out.
