It’s been a while since we’ve had new stories from the Zandian universe, and this one reminded me exactly why it’s one of my favourite worlds to revisit. When Daven rescues Sia and the other captives, he takes personal responsibility for helping her adjust to life in Zandian society. Their connection grows naturally as he guides her through recovery and self‑discovery, all while she struggles with missing memories and dangerous secrets she fears could lead to exile—or worse.

The tension builds as Sia fights to reclaim her past and protect her future. When she finally reveals the truth she’s been hiding, the emotional payoff is strong. Her courage, loyalty, and determination to prove herself to Daven and the Zandians make her very easy to root for.

The narration was super, and the performances brought the characters to life and made the emotional moments even more impactful.
