Rock star romances are one of my favorite genres and this start to the Managed series has me already falling in love. We previously met Jasper in the Entertainment with Jem series. He is the lead singer for the band Weeds, and is falling to bad publicity. Hailey works in public relations and has been assigned to help Jasper fix his image. But what will she be able to without falling for him? Jasper is a great character because he isn't satisfied. I know, sounds terrible, but he knows what he expects out of life, and where he is with his band is not what he wants. Hailey sees Jasper for who he is an not the rock star and for him this is refreshing. Hailey is just as much fun for me because she lacks confidence in herself when she is really an awesome person. Will these two find their way to love? Or is the public in their way? The cliffhanger for this installment is a tough one, be ready to load book 2!

Laurie West is fast becoming one of my favorites. Her voice for the characters is spot on and she can do an accent with ease! I am enjoying her portrayal of these characters, and love when we had the cameo from Jemma that she kept her voices consistent throughout both series!! Time for book 2 and more fun from Clarissa Carlyle and Laurie West!

This is the first installment in the Managed Series, a Rock Star Romance. Jasper and Hailey's slow burn story is sweet and easy to listen to. This installment ends with a cliffhanger. Laurie West did a good job with the narration.

Jasper is the lead singer of Jasper and the Weeds he tries to keep up a bad boy image although he’s not really a bad boy.
His GF posts explicit photos on his social media which leads to him losing sponsors and a PR firm is called in to try control the damage. Hailey Finch is your typical girl next door sweet and innocent but when she meets Jasper they both have feelings they don’t understand .
I really enjoyed listening to this although it’s only just over 3 hours it packs everything in and you are not left feeling you don’t have answers. Listening to book 2 as I write this and enjoying that as well.

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This author does a great job of telling a story and making the characters come to life. Hailey has a daunting task to clean up a Rock Star's image. Jasper's image is far different from his real character. A relationship between Hailey and her client, Jasper, is not allowed in her PR position. In comes many temptations for both of them. Those temptations put a wedge between them. Looking forward to the next book. The narrator does a great job with the individual personalities of the characters.
